Asterisk Signs Top South Asian Marvel Rivals Roster to Mark Esports Expansion

Asterisk Esports has announced its entry into the Marvel Rivals competitive scene, becoming the first South Asian esports organization to embrace the title. The team comprises some of the top-rated players in India and South Asia, with a blend of experienced veterans and rising talent.

The lineup features notable names like Shine, a former professional Overwatch player, and paddoX, previously competing in Apex Legends — both bringing invaluable experience from the FPS and hero shooter ecosystem.


In an official statement, Asterisk Owner Chiru expressed the organization’s commitment to the game’s future:

"At Asterisk, we're incredibly thrilled to announce our entry into Marvel Rivals as the first esports team in South Asia to embrace this groundbreaking title. This isn't a short-term venture for us; it's a long-term project."

He further highlighted the team’s dedication to building infrastructure, providing top-tier resources, and fostering a culture of excellence — laying the foundation for future South Asian dominance in Marvel Rivals.
