BGIS 2025: League Stage Wrap-Up and Qualified Teams for Grand Finals

After two months of intense BGMI action, BGIS 2025: League Stages are over. In February 2025, over a thousand teams started their BGIS 2025 journey with the hopes of grabbing tickets to the finale in Kolkata. Of the thousand teams, only sixteen BGMI teams survived the rough competition, and they will compete in the BGIS 2025: Grand Finals in Kolkata for the championship title and the lion’s share of the Rs. 2 crore prize pool. Before diving deep into the details of the finals, here is a quick recap of what went down in the BGIS 2025: Semi Finals.

Top 16 BGMI Teams From The League Stage Advances To The BGIS 2025: Grand Finals

BGIS 2025: League Stage began in February 2025 with 1016 teams from in-game qualifiers and 64 teams from The Grind. Before the quarterfinals, the League Stage had four rounds, where the teams from in-game qualifiers had to qualify through all four rounds, whereas the invited were seeded based on The Grind's weekly performances.

After the first four rounds, sixteen teams were sent to the Wildcard round, whereas the top 64 teams (including the top eight teams from The Grind Week 4) played in the Quarter Finals. Of the 64 teams, the top sixteen teams advanced into the Semi Finals 1. After the Quarter Finals, 64 teams played in the do-or-die Wildcard round, where only the top sixteen teams qualified for the Semi Finals Week 1.

BGIS 2025: Semi Finals Week 1 followed a round-robin format, with teams being divided into four groups. Over the four days, each team played twelve games, and only the top eight teams qualified for the Grand Finals. Here are the standings of the BGIS 2025: Semi Finals Week 1.

The top eight teams from Week 1 and Week 2 will fly down to Kolkata for the finale showdown. BGIS 2025: Grand Finals will take place from 25 April 2025 to 27 April 2025 in Kolkata, where the sixteen teams will play six games daily, and the winner will grab the championship title and Rs. 60 Lakh prize money. Krafton India is also expected to announce the venue and dates of the BMPS 2025 on the final day of BGIS 2025: Grand Finals.
