Cloud9 Completes Roster with neT
Cloud9 has finalized its roster for the 2025 VCT season by announcing Michael "neT" Bernet. The move follows the team’s decision to part ways with moose during the OFF//SEASON.
neT brings a wealth of experience, having played a pivotal role in The Guard’s historic run during the VCT partnership era. Starting in Challengers North America, neT helped his team secure promotion to VCT Americas by winning Ascension, becoming the first squad to achieve this milestone.
Later, he joined G2 Esports alongside his former teammates from The Guard, making their VCT Americas debut at the Kickoff tournament. While G2 advanced to the play-in stage, their journey ended abruptly after a loss to MIBR dashed their hopes of qualifying for Masters Madrid. Before Split 1, G2 parted ways neT, leading him to explore other opportunities.
Returning to Challengers with M80, neT aimed to replicate his Ascension success. M80 dominated Stage 2 under his leadership, earning a spot in the Ascension tournament. However, this time, neT fell short in the grand finals, as M80 lost to Brazil’s 2Game Esports. M80 disbanded shortly after, leaving neT as a free agent heading into the off-season.
Cloud9 picked up neT as part of a broader roster overhaul. After initially assembling their 2025 lineup, Cloud9 opted for significant changes, including replacing IGL Rossy with mitch and searching for a substitute for moose. With neT joining the squad, Cloud9 is now ready for the upcoming VCT season.
Cloud9’s roster is now:

🇺🇸 Victor "v1c" Truong
