SCARZ Revamps Roster Ahead of Challengers Japan 2025
Updated: Nov 19
Japan – After recently announcing their withdrawal from VALORANT Challengers Japan 2024: Split 3, SCARZ has overhauled its roster for the upcoming 2025 season, keeping only Yoshiharu "Yoshiii" Kawakami. The changes mark SCARZ's intent to refresh its roster for the new season.
The revamped roster includes Yoshitaka "Anthem" Enomoto and An "Medusa" Min-cheol (안민철), former players from Detonation FocusMe. Anthem and Medusa bring valuable experience from their time with DFM, contributing to the team’s success in Japan’s competitive VALORANT scene. Lim "L0B" Byung-gun (임병건), a former VARREL player who was the highest-rated player in VALORANT Challengers Japan 2024 Split 2, is also joining the roster.
Alongside them, SCARZ has promoted Satwoshi from their Academy team. He was previously loaned to BLUE BEES.ESP for the Red Bull Home Ground Japan Qualifier and now joins the main roster to round it out. With this combination of experienced players and fresh talent, SCARZ looks to make a strong start in the 2025 VALORANT Challengers Japan season.
With these changes, their roster now consists of:
