According to sources, Gen.G Esports has benched Jung "Foxy9" Jae-sung from their VALORANT roster. The South Korean Sentinel player, who joined the team in October 2024, is no longer in the starting lineup.

foxy9 was a key part of Gen.G’s success in multiple events. He helped the team secure a first-place finish at the TEN Valorant Asia Invitational and a top-two finish at the Gwangju Esports Series Asia 2024. Gen.G also placed second in the SOOP VALORANT League and third in the VCT Pacific Kickoff 2025.
A former DRX player, Foxy9 transitioned to a Sentinel role with Gen.G and was part of the team’s efforts to remain competitive in the Pacific region. His benching signals potential changes in Gen.G’s roster as they prepare for the rest of the 2025 VALORANT season.
