According to sources, Gen.G has finalized its roster with the additions of Ha "Ash" Hyun-cheol and Seo "Suggest" Jae-young. With these signings, the team is expanding to a six-man lineup. While sources indicate that Jung "Foxy9" Jae-sung is expected to be the sixth player, his exact role within the team has yet to be determined.

Ash's promotion marks a significant step in his career. He joined Gen.G Global Academy in January 2025 and has now earned a spot on the main roster. Before joining Gen.G’s system, he competed with FEARX in 2024, LFG Portal earlier that year, and previously played for Incheon On Sla2ers and OP .GG SPORTS. His rise through the academy system reflects Gen.G’s commitment to developing young talent.

Suggest, on the other hand, brings years of experience at the highest level. He was a key member of DetonatioN FocusMe from late 2021 to early 2024 and previously played for NUTURN. His veteran presence and flexible playstyle will add depth to Gen.G’s roster as they prepare for the upcoming season.

These roster changes come after Gen.G’s third-place finish at VCT Pacific Kickoff, where they fell to DRX and eventual Masters Bangkok champions T1. The organization recently parted ways with Chae "yoman" Young-moon, opting for a roster overhaul ahead of Pacific Stage 1.

Gen.G will debut their new lineup in less than two weeks when they face BOOM Esports on Monday, March 24 in their opening match of VCT Pacific Stage 1.

Gen.G’s expected roster after these changes is:

  • 🇰🇷 Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-beom

  • 🇰🇷 Kim "t3xture" Na-ra

  • 🇰🇷 Kim "Karon" Won-tae

  • 🇰🇷 Ha "Ash" Hyun-cheol

  • 🇰🇷 Seo "Suggest" Jae-young

  • 🇰🇷 Jung "Foxy9" Jae-sung (Substitute)

  • 🇰🇷 Kang "solo" Geun-chul (Head Coach)

  • 🇰🇷 Jung "peri" Bum-ki (Coach)

  • 🇰🇷 Kim "HSK" Hae-seong (Assistant Coach)

With Pacific Stage 1 approaching, Gen.G’s revamped roster will soon be put to the test.
