Sources: GIANTX to Trial UCAM Duo ara and Flickless

According to sources, GIANTX is preparing to make adjustments to its VALORANT roster ahead of the final matches in the VCT EMEA Stage 1 group stage. The team will be trialing Hanceriuc “ara” Eduard-Georgeand and Karel “Flickless” Maeckelbergh, two rising talents from UCAM Esports Club as they look to improve on a disappointing campaign.
The duo will be replacing Emil “runneR” Trajkovski and Tomás “tomaszy” Machado in the starting lineup. While this is not a permanent signing, GIANTX will be evaluating ara and Flickless during their upcoming matches against FNATIC and Apeks. Should the duo perform well, they are expected to be signed for VCT EMEA Stage 2.
Both ara and Flickless have been standout performers in the Spanish VALORANT circuit. Their recent form with UCAM has attracted attention from several organizations, but GIANTX appears to be the first to give them a shot at the top-tier level. This trial marks their first appearance on the VCT EMEA stage.
GIANTX currently sits near the bottom of the group stage standings and is at risk of missing out on the playoffs. The roster has struggled to find consistency throughout Stage 1, prompting the organization to test out new talent in hopes of revitalizing the team heading into the second half of the season.
