Sources: REJECT Signs Sayaplayer and Hate to Revamp Roster

According to sources, Japanese organization REJECT has revamped its roster ahead of the upcoming VALORANT Challengers Japan Split 1, set to begin on January 29th, 2025. While the team will first need to navigate the Advance Stage to secure a spot in the main event, their new roster shows their ambition to dominate the Japanese scene and secure a place in VCT Pacific League 2026.

The organization has retained BRIAN, muto, and take, forming a core of domestic talent. To bolster their chances, REJECT has added two prominent Korean players. Ha “Sayaplayer” Jung-woo, formerly a star duelist for teams like T1 and The Guard, brings immense firepower and international experience. Alongside him, Lee “Hate” Ye-hun, known for his versatility as a flex player from his time with DAMWON Gaming and other top-tier Korean teams, adds depth and adaptability to the roster.

This combination of local and Korean talent positions REJECT as a potential dark horse in the Japanese VALORANT scene.

With these changes, REJECT's roster is:

  • 🇯🇵 “BRIAN

  • 🇯🇵 “muto

  • 🇯🇵 “take

  • 🇰🇷 Ha “Sayaplayer” Jung-woo

  • 🇰🇷 Lee “Hate” Ye-hun
