TYLOO Reshuffles Roster Ahead of 2025 Season

TYLOO Reshuffles Roster Ahead of 2025 Season Chinese esports organization TYLOO has announced major changes to it's VALORANT roster ahead of the 2025 season, starting with the departure of their entire coaching staff and the expansion of their roster with new signings.

TYLOO has parted ways with head coach Huang "Sunshine" Jinjie and coach Aleksey "slk" Lynksov. Sunshine joined the team in March 2024 after leaving Weibo Gaming. During his tenure, he also stepped in as a player for TYLOO in two offseason competitions.

slk, who signed with TYLOO in June 2024, brought international experience from teams like FNATIC, Team Singularity, and CrowCrowd. Despite their efforts, TYLOO’s results remained underwhelming, with the team struggling to find success in both domestic and international competitions.

TYLOO’s 2024 season ended with disappointing performances in China Stage 1 and Stage 2, where they finished 7th-8th and eighth, respectively. They failed to progress beyond the group stage in both tournaments, achieving just four wins in 12 matches across the season.

Their offseason did little to inspire confidence. TYLOO participated in three domestic events WALL-E Cup, FGC Invitational, and Superb Cup recording just two wins and seven losses. The team also experimented with numerous lineup combinations during this period, fielding eight players across three tournaments.

Amid these challenges, TYLOO has expanded their active roster to six players with the additions of Ding "5CM" Xuanpeng and Kelun "slowly" Sun.

5CM joins from Xtreme Gaming, where he debuted professionally during the 2024 Ascension circuit. Initially playing as a Controller, he took on primary Controller duties for TYLOO during their offseason events.

slowly returns to TYLOO after a stint with ZY Gaming in 2024, where he primarily played as an Initiator. In the offseason, he shifted to Controller roles, showcasing his flexibility on agents like Viper and Cypher. This marks his second tenure with the organization, having briefly played for TYLOO in 2023.

With the VCT China 2025 Kickoff just weeks away, where they are set to face Titan Esports Club, TYLOO must urgently fill their coaching vacancies and finalize their lineup. The team aims to rebound from their lackluster 2024 season and position themselves for a stronger performance in the year ahead.

TYLOO’s roster is now:

  • 🇨🇳 Ding "Ninebody" Yi (丁毅)

  • 🇨🇳 Pengzhi "coldfish" Xiang (向鹏志)

  • 🇨🇳 Zhang "hfmi0dzjc9z7" Juncheng (张峻程)

  • 🇨🇳 Yang "Eren" Zhengwei (杨曾威)

  • 🇨🇳 Ding "5CM" Xuanpeng (丁宣鹏)

  • 🇨🇳 Kelun "slowly" Sun (孙科伦)
