Overall Format
The 2025 season will feature three Splits with increasing stakes:
Split 1: January-March
Split 2: March-May
Split 3: July-August
Teams will earn Circuit Points throughout the season, with the top four advancing to the Split 3 Playoffs to determine the "VALORANT Challengers Japan 2025 Annual Champion."
Split 1
Advance Stage: Teams compete in blocks; the top two from each block (6 total) advance to the Main Stage.
Main Stage:
Top 4 teams advance to the Split 2 Main Stage.
Bottom 6 teams drop to the Split 2 Advance Stage.
Academy teams participate in the Main Stage but do not earn Circuit Points or advance beyond this stage.

Advance Stage: Top teams from Upper and Lower Brackets move to the Main Stage.
Main Stage: Top 6 teams advance to Playoffs, with the first-place team choosing their opponent in a strategic twist.
