VALORANT Challengers Southeast Asia 2025: Split 1 – Finalized Teams and Structure

SOOP has confirmed the lineup and structure for VALORANT Challengers Southeast Asia 2025: Split 1, and the competition is set to be fierce. With a mix of returning powerhouses, fresh academy rosters, and rising challengers, the upcoming split promises to be a thrilling start to the year. Here’s a look at the teams and the format for the event.

Teams Qualified Through Split 3

Six teams have earned their spots in Split 1 after strong performances in Stage 3 of Split 3:

• Disguised

• Made in Thailand

• Alter Ego

• NAOS Esports

• ZOL Esports

• FULL SENSE

These teams have proven themselves at the highest level and will be looking to carry their momentum into the new split.

Academy Invites

Three VCT Partnered organizations have decided to field academy teams and have received direct invitations to Split 1:

• Team Secret Academy

• TALON Esports Academy

• REX REGUM QEON Academy

They will be bringing fresh talent to the competition, offering a glimpse of the future of Southeast Asia’s VALORANT scene.

Promotion/Relegation

The final three spots in Split 1 will be decided through the Promotion/Relegation stage, set to take place in early January 2025. Teams joining this stage include:

1. Top teams from sub-regional qualifiers across Southeast Asia, The qualifiers will feature:

   • Vietnam (On Live VALORANT Series)

   • Indonesia

   • Philippines

   • Thailand

   • Malaysia/Singapore

   • Taiwan/Hong Kong
     

The format has been revamped to enhance competition, ensuring that teams from all sub-regions don't get overlooked. 2. Teams that finished 7th-8th in Stage 3 of Split 3 also received the invitation:

• Rapid Lofi

• Oblivion Force

3. Top teams from Stage 2 of 2024 that couldn't make it to the Stage 3:

   • The MongolZ

   • Fancy United Esports

   • Team 123

   • Unsigned 5

4. The Top 2 teams from VALORANT Premier: Episode 9 Act 3: Asia Invite Division will also qualify for the Promotion/Relegation stage.
