VCT Pacific Kickoff 2025: Everything You Need To Know

The VCT Pacific Kickoff 2025 will start the competitive season for the Pacific region, running from January 18 to February 9, 2025, in Seoul, South Korea. The 12-team double-elimination tournament will determine the top two teams who will advance to Masters Bangkok, the first global event of the year. Matches will take place at the Sangam Colosseum, a state-of-the-art venue previously used for VCT Pacific, ensuring a grand start to the season​.

Format Overview

  • Seeding:

    • The Champions 2024 teams DRX, Paper Rex, TALON, Gen.G Esports are automatically seeded into the second round of the upper bracket.

    • Ascension 2024 teams BOOM Esports and Nongshim RedForce are placed on opposite sides of the bracket.

    • The remaining teams, including ZETA DIVISION, T1, Global Esports, Team Secret, DetonatioN FocusMe, and Rex Regum Qeon, are randomly drawn into Round 1.


  • Matches Format:

    • Double-elimination Bracket.

    • All matches except the Grand Final are Best-of-3 (Bo3).

    • The Grand Final is a Best-of-5 (Bo5).


This format ensures a thrilling and competitive start to the 2025 VALORANT season for the Pacific region.
